It's currently twenty to four in the afternoon here and I am totally knackered. I woke up at about four and just thought, whatever, I'll get up now. After six hours of non-stop work, I'm currently regretting that decision. But I'm home!
I'm a coffee-making, obsessively-cleaning shop assistant type thing down in Ely, which is kind of beautiful but so, so cold! I don't know why, but I get freakishly cold so this weather isn't too great, really. Anyway, I went to work and did work-ish things like making brilliant coffee and, well, stuff like that.
Nothing too exciting happened at work; it was really busy and I didn't get much cleaning done, but it was all good. Oh, I had to sell a magazine titled 'BARELY EIGHTEEN' to a lechy, stroky-hand man, which was kind of awkward. I just kind of stood there like 'Is this really happening?!'
I'm going to go and chill out before working on my Psychology essay and doing some revision for the night....I know, it's a wild life. Anyway, yeah, bye guys :)

PS. OH YEAH GUYS! I'm well getting my car on Tuesday :') It may have a lemur nailed down to the boot cover but WHO CARES :)))
Hi there, Ashleigh's Dad here, I just want to say how much i am enjoying reading your blog's, i have come back a 2nd day so that must be telling you how interested i am. Its good to see how commited you are to you homework and revision Mathilde, maybe you can give Ash the odd poke to keep her on the straight and narrow for us...lol...although since she's passed her test.we never know when she's going to be home or where she's going next...i think its a bit of a honeymoon period but she will need to slow down soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your getting your new car on Tuesday Mathilde, are you planning to drive it straight away, Ashleigh didnt as the insurance costs were just to expensive, maybe you could also help Ashleigh with her sense of direction as she totally relies on her phone (maps) or road signs and floor markings, think they should teach you a sense of direction when you have driving lessons as she has no hope at the moment...lol...if she arrives at yours when she's going to Wisbech, please can you just guide her in the right direction and send her on her way, i showed her an AA road ma book this morning and she said, sorry Dad, i'm not ready for that yet, its to complicated...lol.
Anyway, to both of you, keep up the good work, it will be all worth it in the end although it may seem like hard going at the moment...love the blog...it's great to read...speak soon...Ash's Dad x
Haha, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to drive it straight away because I've got to buy the tax and didn't realise that I have to be insured to actually do this. All good though :) I'm no good with directions either haha, I'm relying on our sat nav to get us between places :L I haven't been in the car with Ash past town/the Hardwick, but she is very good at navigating those!
Thank you for reading! - Mathilde
